Excellence in Education – Classroom Management & Professionalism
Held at Hope KGs and Primary School, this training equipped 20 educators with practical classroom management strategies and professional ethics to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Funded by NCDO, it aimed to strengthen teacher capacity and foster a more positive, inclusive, and effective learning environment in the Gambella Region.
Child Safeguarding in the Community
This community-based training brought together 50 local leaders, caregivers, and educators to build awareness and skills in protecting children from abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Funded by NCDO, the program promoted stronger community networks, improved reporting systems, and empowered participants to create safer environments for all children.
Supporting Orphans and Widows – Restoring Hope and Dignity.
At Naath Community Development Organization (NCDO), we believe that every individual deserves a life of dignity, care, and opportunity—especially the most vulnerable among us. Through our dedicated programs, we provide critical support to orphans and widows across the Gambella Region. This includes access to basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter, and healthcare, as well as educational sponsorships for orphaned children and economic empowerment initiatives for widowed mothers.
By walking alongside them, we aim not only to meet their immediate needs but also to help rebuild their sense of purpose, hope, and self-reliance. These are not just beneficiaries—they are valued members of our community with untapped potential and stories of resilience. With the continued support of our partners and donors, NCDO remains committed to transforming lives and restoring the future of those who have lost so much.

These areas were identified based on their high vulnerability, diverse population composition, and strategic importance for promoting peace and inclusive development in the Gambella region.
